We invite you to send us YOUR own story or a story about a Woman
of the Pilbara who has inspired you. Although we will not be able
to use these stories in the book itself we would like to make
sure your story can be told and this web site will assist us in
doing this.
Subject to normal censorship and libel checks we will post these
on this website (and also offer them to the National Council of
Women to be put into their archive collection).
We believe that YOUR stories are important and will help us capture
as many experiences as we can. We believe there are many memories
and experiences that should be captured so we encourage you to
“put fingers to the keyboard”.
In making your story submission consider its size (we recommend
less than 1500 words) and the sensitvity of other people referenced
in the article. We welcome a digital
photo to accompany the article.
By submitting your story (and photo) you are granting us permission
to post it (them) on the website and for any of it to be quoted
or used in associated publicity."
Please send us your stories about a girl or woman who has inspired
you (maybe your Grandmother, your Mum or your Coach…) and
we will post them on a special page on our web-site. We have two
sections one for those who are in Primary School and another for
those in Middle and Senior School.
